Manufacturing Instant Noodles - Task 1 Response
The given diagram shows a series of steps that goes into manufacturing an instant noodle.
On quick glance at the diagram, there are eight steps ranging from storage silos to labeling and sealing the packet.
During the first four steps, the flour is converted into dough strips. In the first step of the manufacturing process, flour is stored in storage silos. Subsequently, it is sent to the mixer in the second step where flour is mixed with water and oil to prepare dough. In the third step, the prepared dough from the second step is passed through some rollers which transforms the dough into sheets that can be passed through some cutters which slice the sheets to obtain dough strips.
By the end of the last four steps, the noodles gets ready to be used by consumers. In the fifth step, the dough strips are converted into noodle disks, the shape we see in the packets of instant noodles. Once the discs are prepared, they are cooked in oil and dehydrated so that they become ready to be eaten. In the next step, the noodles are poured into cups and mixed with some vegetables and spices. Finally, the cups with a mixture of noodles and vegetables are sealed and labeled with the brand name of the manufacturer. Now, after the eighth step, instant noodles are ready to be consumed.
